Happiness to me is a lot of things, like when I wake up each morning. I thank God for like and all the material things he has blessed me with. First, I thank him for my health, my home, my children, my one brother and my two sisters. Second, I thank him for my grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Happiness has always been a part of my life and always will be. I fee that he has enabled me to be the person I am and enjoy the things I do. I trust in God that I will do this until the end of my life. Thank you God for my life and give me the spirit and the strength to go on.

Awesome Activities at the Menorah Park Adult Day Center

Hoping 2008 is another great year, we started it off in style at the Menorah Park Adult Day Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Our New Year's Eve, "Masquerade" Party theme was a hit.

We also celebrated Chinese New Year with the help of

some students from Case Western Reserve University. The students brought traditional decorations and art work handmade in China.

The day center clubs all worked really hard on some very yummy goodies for our bake-off. Cooking is a favorite activity of our clients. Sandra is showing off Mandel Club's 1st Place "Mandeli Cookie Pizza!"

Computer classes for beginners continue in the Miller Computer Lab at Menorah Park. Club members are enjoying learning their way around the Internet, and email, to keep in touch with family and friends. As you can see, members are also entering the world of blogging! We hope to get some comments so we can respond!

Dancing is another favorite activity with our club members. Most

recently, we've celebrated Mardi Gras with 7 Mile Isle steel drum band. The party was a huge success. Great music, good food, which creates spectacular spirits!

It's amazing to see the many unique programs that serve our very special residents and visitors here at Menorah Park Center for Senior Living. We offer a multitude of services, including our Adult Day Care Center located in the heart of our Campus, in Beachwood Ohio. The adult day care center has activities ranging from volleyball to crafts to music and movies, dances, parties, and special surprises. Seniors who choose to spend the day living life to its fullest are showing the world that aging doesn't have to mean being alone at home.
